American College of Poultry Veterinarians Workshop-- ACPV will be sponsoring a workshop on Sunday, April 18th, prior to the 59th Western Poultry Disease Conference. The workshop is intended to bring attendees up-to-date information on research in laying hen behavior and efforts to promote well-being in both pullets and layers. Current recommendations for cage systems and alternative housing systems, and methods for objective assessment (auditing) of the various management systems will be presented. |
